Tables: Policy Statements
One
of the roles of S.T.O.P. -- Safe Tables Our Priority is to
advocate positions on federal, state and local issues related
to food safety that further the interests of consumers. While
we often share somewhat similar positions with other food
safety organizations, we bring a unique perspective to food
safety issues and policies. Below are listed current topics
proposed by government, industry, consumer organizations or
S.T.O.P. itself on which S.T.O.P. has taken a position. Where
S.T.O.P. has submitted extensive comments on a particular
topic that are now available electronically, the links below
will also refer to additional documents.
