Word of caution though, and this
is where we need to look to future studies and
it does become a little bit difficult, but to
children with obvious neurological impairment at
the time of discharge these results can not be
applied.
Our main focus was on those
children who appeared to have recovered
completely from their HUS but who might
nonetheless have important subclinical
abnormalities in their neuropsychological function.
