DR. LINGWOOD:
      This is VT1 staining of human colon. And what you see here, these circles here and they do not stain with VT1. You see some brown coloration here, which are the submucosa, which are blood vessels in the GI tract, but the epithelial cells that are lining the human GI tract, they do not have the receptor.
      So there's an anomaly here. The cattle have the receptor. They don't suffer from the disease. Humans don't have the receptor. We do suffer from the disease.
