DR. CORNEL:
Neurologically she was initially in coma but showed steady improvement. She evolved through narcotic withdrawal, psychosis and memory problems. Subsequently she experienced very poor concentration.
She has come back to essentially normal. Her left vocal cord was injured by prolonged intubation but has slowly recovered. She speaks in a rather attractive and dramatic, husky whisper these days.
