What are the common symptoms of renal damage after HUS? There usually aren't ANY noticeable symptoms. High blood pressure, proteinuria, low GFR, usually give no discernible signs or symptoms. The child looks normal and you don't suspect that they have renal damage unless you go and look for it with blood pressure checks, blood or urine tests.
