So if we look at that four year old with HUS six months later, he may have a couple little areas with scar formation but he generally feels well, and is back to being a normal kid. Kidney function, measured by creatinine is back to normal, .5, and the GFR is well within the normal range. Blood pressure is normal and their urine protein, whether measured on dipstick or protein creatinine ratio is within the normal range.
