DR. ROCK:
This is the kind of pattern we
see. All of these bands indicate different
interactions between a constituent of the
platelets and an antibody in the patient's serum.
So there are a lot of reactions, but one thing
we found to be consistently present in virtually
all the patients was a reactivity across this
area which is consistent with a protein of a
molecular weight of 88 Kd's at which we would
find CD36 or glycoprotein four.
