      The supervising psychologist, and there was a supervising psychologist who was a site investigator at each of the sites, was responsible for monitoring the consistency as well as accuracy of the assessments and provided appropriate clinical feedback and follow-up to all the families.
      The research assistance at each site extracted pertinent clinical information and interviewed the parents for demographic data, birth history, growth and development, schooling. We looked for things like central nervous system symptoms during the acute illness of HUS. And we graded those on a severity scale.
      Other clinical indicators of interest identified before the study were the peak creatinine concentration during the acute episode of HUS as well as the number of days of dialysis.
      Are we there? All right. The bifocals work well, though.
