MS. GIRAND:
Our next speaker is Elaine Orrbine. Elaine Orrbine came highly recommended by, I think, all of her colleagues in the neuropsychology studies that she's been involved with. And I would appreciate it if you would offer a warm welcome to her. We will get the computer set up in just a moment.

MS. ORRBINE:
Make sure Dr. Cornel is not taking any of the Microsoft equipment.
Maybe while Laurie is setting up the Microsoft equipment, albeit second best, I just wanted to take this opportunity, first of all, to thank Laurie for just an amazing, amazing accomplishment.
It's kind of nice to be the last speaker because you get an opportunity to sort of get a feel and participate throughout the day. And I really believe we all owe you a tremendous congratulations for a wonderful day.
Along those lines I'm going to present what I really look forward to sharing with you and call it a happy ending. A happy ending and hopefully we can alleviate some fears based on a controlled trial of a large number of children who did have Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome.
Just before doing that I -- I think it's important to recognize that things are changing, they are changing in the research world, in the health care profession and I don't believe there are any differences in Canada and in the US and in Europe.
And the message I want to deliver is that we have a unique opportunity now to work as partners, partners in academia, partners in government, and corporate, private industry, volunteer sectors, foundations like the Lois Joy Galler foundation, organizations like S.T.O.P.
We need really to work as one because no one is going to be able to answer all of the questions but as a team there's not a doubt in my mind that we really can make a big difference. And I would like to thank the organizers of S.T.O.P. for a wonderful, wonderful day as well as an opportunity to share our neuropsychological study with you.

MS. GIRAND:
I may be in a situation where the Microsoft product, having been spoken of so highly, is now refusing to cooperate in any way, shape or form. I will keep working on this. Do you have copies of your slides? Can you see them, because everyone has copies of your slides.

MS. ORRBINE:
I will go get them. John is saying it's because of the Apple. I don't know.
Well usually when the multimedia breaks down you go to slides. Unfortunately, I was so certain that that wouldn't happen just as an -- and I guess we will follow along in the binders.
