You don't get protection in
immunity, except following maybe repeat
stimulations. For example, if you're in a farm
family or something like that, but the general
HUS patient does not have an elevated
antiverotoxin titre following recovery from the
infection. And we believe that that is because
the verotoxin is actually knocking out the cells
which would make the antibodies.
