DR. TARR:
In this talk I am going to review the complications of E. coli 0157 infection and really not spend too much time on Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome, about which many of you are only sadly too familiar. And it's going to be a very practical talk. There are not a tremendous amount of data out there about long term abdominal consequences.
There are just collections of anecdotes. But frequently we observe little things that are helpful to children and I am going to stay entirely practical in this conversation.
