      So what we see is that the long chain Gb3 species tend to get stuck in the Golgi, whereas the shorter chain Gb3 species targets the toxin further down this internalization route transport called a retrograde transport pathway into the Golgi into the endoplasmic reticulum and here. So that's two pathways. There are more.
      I already told you that not all cells are killed by verotoxin. One such cell type are monocytes. They are induced to produce cytokines following verotoxin exposure.
      Monocytes are induced to produce cytokines by verotoxin as opposed to being killed.
