S.T.O.P. encourages everyone who has had or been affected by a foodborne illness to write their story. Sharing these stories is a powerful way to start the healing process, raise awareness and put a face and a name to a devastating disease beyond the bare statistics.
S.T.O.P. Members are currently sharing their stories in many ways:

• On our website (requires both picture and story)
• On our national office Honor Wall & brochure
• In media stories
• When we travel to Washington to push for tougher food safety regulation
• In Firstgiving Fundraising and Awareness pages

S.T.O.P. does not share our member’s stories without their permission, so feel free to express yourself. If you would like assistance in writing your story, please let us know below and a S.T.O.P. Staff person will contact you. Visit our Victim Stories and Honor Wall section to view what other members have written.
