As you know S.T.O.P. has been working tirelessly on FDA Reform. With your help we have been able to influence many stakeholders in this debate.
The vote for passage of Bill H.R. 2749 in the House of Representatives will happen either today 7/28 or Wednesday 7/29 if it is to take place before summer recess.
We feel passage of this bill is very important to consumers everywhere. We need each one of you to call your Representative in the House today and voice your strong approval for this bill. (Leaving a voicemail is fine as well.)
It is imperative that you make this call. Please find your representative and his/her phone number using this link:

Please take 5 minutes out of your day to make the call and say the following:
"Hello my name is *** and I am (either a victim of foodborne illness or a citizen concerned with food safety legislation) and I am a constituent of Representative *** (then briefly tell your story if you are a victim). I am calling today to please ask Representative *** to vote for the Food Safety Enhancement Act, H.R. 2749, this week before the summer break. FDA reform is much needed and will help ensure a safer food supply."
